Today, I am 31. I guess I don’t really have much to say about it.
Last year, I was pumped about turning 30. So pumped in fact, that I got a group of family and friends to come out and celebrate with me. Thirty was not going to get me down.
This year? I almost completely forgot that it was my birthday. I mean, I knew my birthday was coming up. But normally, I’m counting down from March 1st and being sure to remind those around me that my birthday is coming up.
I just realized last week that the 20th was coming near. Perhaps that’s a sign I’m getting older and birthdays aren’t what they used to be. That is until I turn 40. You better believe there is going to be a par-tay.
So, do birthdays just turn into regular days after you hit 30?
