My newest post from my Journaling Within book is about describing my ideal day. Ooohhh the possibilities!
My ideal day would consist of me sleeping til 9 or 10. That’s about 3 or so hours extra for me. I would then take my time getting ready for the day. By getting ready, I mean really get dolled up. My flat iron would get used and I’d probably make that cute bump in my hair. I’d also really take time to put make up on. I’d have to say I’d be looking pretty good. ![]()
I would then head out to lunch for some close friends. I would pick Buffalo Wild Wings because it is my day after all. After lunch, we’d head over to the mall and I would be able to shop for whatever I wanted and not feel guilty about buying stuff for me.
After a long afternoon of shopping, my friends and I would head downtown for happy hour and celebrate our awesome day with cheap drinks. I would eventually make it home about 7 pm where I would crawl right into bed to get rested for the real world that would happen the next day.
Is it bad that my ideal day didn’t include Jack, my boyfriend, my dog, or work? Although it would be an ideal day, it wouldn’t be how I’d live my life. Eventually, I’d get bored with the easy life and want the things I didn’t have. I could definitely use a whole day to myself to do whatever I wanted, I would really miss everything else.

I dont think its sad that your ideal day didn't include those people. You have them with you all the time so it makes total sense!
After all its a day about YOU and what you wanna do
