BlogHer 12 will be here before I know it. Now is the time to be thinking about what I’m going to wear. I like to be prepared in case I end up needing something I don’t have.
I’m excited to announce my sponsor for BlogHer 12, Lane Bryant! I love Lane Bryant for so many reasons. One being that I can always find something that fits both my body and my style. Where I live, there are not many clothing options for plus sized women. Luckily, we do have a Lane Bryant. Their clothes always seem to be in line with the current trends I see in the fashion magazines and other clothing stores.
The staff at my local Lane Bryant is amazing. Last Friday, I went in to get some new clothes for BlogHer. I’m normally an in and out type of shopper. I don’t ask for much from the sales people. This time was different. I actually spent 2 hours in the store!!! There was so much new stuff that I didn’t know where to start. I also didn’t know what look I was going for. I gave them the scoop on why I was shopping and they led the way.
I also spent quite a bit of time looking for better bras. The Cacique line from Lane Bryant is the best. Especially for someone who is rather busty. It’s the only place in town I can find my size in an array of colors and designs. All I did was tell her what my issues were with my current bra and she worked hard to find me a style that was best for my figure.
Another reason I love Lane Bryant? The sales are amazing! Every time I go, there is a deal where if you spend so much money, then you get so much off. For example, spend $225, get $75 off. That’s like getting 2 items free! I was there on a good day because certain tops and crops were half off. The Cacique bras were also on sale, buy one at regular price, get one free. That itself is awesome, but their normal sale is buy one bra and get one ½ off.
With all the deals going on, I managed to get 3 tops, 2 bottoms, 2 bras and one pair shoes. Together with sales and promotions, I saved $240!!!! That’s more than what my actual total came to! I love hitting up a good sale.
