I’m scared of my neighbor. She is mean and always gives me a dirty look when I take the dog or trash out in my jammies. What scares me the most about her? She’s only 8 years old. Nine tops. Yep, I’m afraid of an elementary student.
I’m not even kidding about the looks. I get the up and down with the occasional eye roll and head shake. That’s not all, I’ve heard the way she talks to the other kids. I wouldn’t even talk to my friends like that.
For the longest time, I wondered about her mother. Ya know, if she knew how her daughter was acting. But then I had a run in with her. Now, I totally see where the daughter gets the attitude and the nasty looks. The thing is, the mother is nothing to look at. I know that I’m not super hot or anything but at least I don’t walk around with my unmentionables or actual body parts hanging out for the world to see.
What kills me the most is that she is scared of my dog and thinks he is mean. I will hear her making comments to the other kids about the mean dog. Listen chicky, here’s why is mean. I believe dogs can sense the bad attitude of people. Or at least my dog can. He knows you are not nice. Second, you and your little friends will stand in front of my patio doors and torment the dog who is stuck inside. They will literally walk super slow and then just stand there and watch as my dog freaks out. So irritating at 9 am or 8 pm. Because, yes, her and the 3, 4 and 5 yr old neighbor kids are roaming the apartment buildings unsupervised all day long.
Every day, I managed to make multiple trips outside while staying far away from her. If I do run into her, I take my punishment dirty look and go on my merry way.

wow! I thought I was the only person with a wacko elementary school neighbor. there's a neighbor boy that drives us insane. We can't stand this kid… he comes over and starts using our water hose, sits on our front porch, when I'm in the backyard I get a creapy feeling and he's staring at me and my kids from the fence. UGH. I can't wait to move!!!!!! Just know you aren't alone. Makes me sad that these kids are being raise to be so disrespectful!!!!!!!!!(and annoys me too lol)
Hahahaha! When my husband was in the military, we moved on base and he was deployed. My brother-in-law was living with us helping out and I had a 1, 3 and 5 year old. We were exhausted from the move to say the least. Our very first morning to wake up in the new house happened at 7 am with the next door neighbor girl ringing the bell. I tried to ignore it, thinking anyone who needed me at 7 am didn't know me well enough to know that I wasn't alive at that hour. I peeked out the bathroom window to see a little girl, maybe 4 years old, ringing my bell. Like I said, I tried to ignore it but she rang the bell 27 times (yes, I counted!). Finally she gave up and I met her mom later that day on the sidewalk and explained that I had kids of my own but to please keep her child from ringing my bell at 7 am.
I remember years ago when I worked overnights. There were these little girls who would come jump rope on my front porch while I tried to sleep.
As I reply this same girl and another girl from their building are sitting on the steps of our building. I'd like to take my dog out, but he barks at them every time we see them because they torment him all the time. Plus, they were just yelling into the building for no reason. Looks like it could be a long summer.
I don't care that they are outside playing, but they should really stay by their buidlings. Ya know, bother their own parents with their yelling and stares.
