My favorite though has been the homemade applesauce. I went through a couple of recipes and then did my own thing from those recipes. There is really no “recipe” because I did a little of this and a little of that. Here is what I did:
I peeled and chunked my apples then put them in a crock pot.
I put just enough apple juice to cover the bottom.
I sprinkled them with cinnamon and sugar.
I sent the crock on the 8 hrs low option.
My crock pot is super powerful for some reason so it only took a few hours on low for the apples to get soft.
Once they were soft, I mashed them with my hand mixer. I left mine a little chunky.
I’ll tell you what, when I ate the sauce while it was warm and it tasted just like apple pie but without the crust. I love apple pie but not a huge fan of crust, so it was perfect for me. My family loved this so much, I’ve made it twice this week.

I am new follower! Looking forward to trying the applesauce!
My kids love homemade applesauce too! It's amazing how easy it is to make

Thanks, my church has been searchingfor this kind of stuff. I found some great homemade recipe here btw, too!
