As someone who needs to be frugal with their money, I can appreciate a cell phone service that fits my needs and my budget.

Straight Talk is a cell phone service that offers everything I need but at half the cost of a contract phone service. Sometimes I wonder why cell phone providers even have the contracts because now days, I can get everything I need in a cell phone and service without a contract.

With Straight Talk, I would save half on my monthly bill. There is so much I could do with that extra cash. I could save it for an emergency fund. I could pay extra on my car loan or student loan. There is really so much I could do with it.

The available plans with Straight Talk are great. They are not pay as you go, but you pay monthly for the service. The “All You Need Plan” meets even the needs of heavy phone users with 1,000 minutes, 1,000 texts and 30 MB of web data. Those are plenty of minutes for me. I currently have 450 minutes that I maybe use 100 of.

For only $45, there is the unlimited talk, text and web. The unlimited plan alone is half of I what I currently pay. If I really wanted to, I could do a full years worth of calling for only $499. There would be just one payment and I would be covered for a year!

As added features, 411 calls are free, no activation, reactivation or termination fees are charged. International calling is also available with flexibility and the ability to Call a friend who lives in another country.

I’ve seen other no contract services that offer generic phones. Just because I don’t want a contract doesn’t mean I don’t want a nice phone. Straight talk offers reconditioned phones are available from $10.00 with everything I  need like a camera, mp3 player, mobile web access, and blue-tooth capability.

Amazing smart phones are also available with  touch screens and app capable phones with features like voice navigation, camera, video recorder, music player, instant messaging, and Bluetooth®. What is really cool is that Android on Straight Talk is available. I love Android and I don’t think I could not have the service.

The Fantasy Fishing Team officially uses Straight Talk, check out their thoughts, Hook, line and sinker .
