Over the weekend, Jack and I went with some friends to fruit farm. They were having a family fun day. So we loaded up all the kids for a little drive to the farm.
They took us out to the orchard on a trailer on the back of a tractor. Once they stopped, we were able to hop off and begin our adventure.

I couldn’t believe how many trees there were! It’s late in the season, so I wasn’t sure how good of a selection we’d get. But, we managed to fill up our bag pretty quickly.

I think most of our bag was made up of golden delicious. I’m not an apple expert, but I think that’s what my friend said. Jack wanted to pull one right off the tree and eat it. I was a little hesitate, but then I let loose and let him do it.

Overall, I’d say we had an awesome time! It was a nice bonding time for Jack and I. I don’t normally get to take him to places like that without our daddy.

Now that we know this place exists, we are planning to go early next year so we can have more of a selection of apples. I also have more apples in my kitchen then I know what to do with. Jack has at least one a day. I’ve also made a caramel apple cake and plan to make apple sauce this weekend.
I love fall and now we have something to look forward to next year.

Looks like a fun time!
I love Golden delicious too-
