I’m Michelle from NW Iowa. I’m a mother to our son Jack, who is 4. I’m also a secretary by day and a blogger by night. I sell Pampered Chef on the side so I can afford my expensive habits like Coach handbags and learning photography.
New to Mom started as a way to humor my inner computer geek. Blogging itself was new to me. I would now consider it a lifestyle blog where I share our family happenings, plus size fashion, beauty reviews and other product reviews. I will also add some sponsored posts because like I said, I love Coach handbags.
I love using my blog to record the daily lives our family. Jack is at such a fun age that I want to make sure I remember everything. It also helps with my Project Life.
I write about plus size fashion because this mom is finally getting her style groove back. It only took me 4 years, but the old me is slowly coming back. I’m a beauty product junkie and love sharing my finds with everyone under the sun.
Blogging as provided me with many opportunities that I would have never had if I hadn’t started this blog on a whim. I’ve done product reviews for Naturalizer shoes, Chuck E. Cheese’s (Jack loved this!), Lane Bryant and Hexbugs among others. I’m excited to say that Lane Bryant has now sponsored me for the BlogHer conferences in 2011 and 2012.
